The pen itself looks nice or it did before I took the lid off and saw that the cap had left a scratch on the pen case and the same happened when I posted it on the end of the pen. The nib is very scratchy and I don't like writing with it. I believe 14K gold nibs are supposed to be smooth this one is not, I have some super cheap pens with Extra Fine nibs that write way smoother than this one. I am disappointed as it is a nice looking pen that feels good in my hand but for the high price I expected a much better writing experience, it is not worth the money
