Small and handy, the LAMY pico first shows its full potential when expanded.
An innovative pocket pen which transforms into a full-size ballpoint pen thanks
to its sophisticated push mechanism.
The LAMY pico is a real quick-change artist. With a gentle push
a clever mechanism turns the compact cylinder into a full-size ballpoint pen in no time at all. This is made possible by a patented double mechanism within the writing instrument.
Renowned industrial designer Franco Clivio is responsible for the design. In creating the LAMY pico in 2001, the designer created a writing instrument that inspires with understated design and innovative technology. This is demonstrated not least by the design prizes with which the LAMY pico has been honoured, such as the IF Award, the Red Dot Award and the German Design Award.
The body of the LAMY pico is made of robust aluminium. Push gently and the point slides smoothly out of the housing while the metal ballpoint pen simultaneously expands in complete silence from short to long. In the long writing mode, accents of colour and texture around the point and the rear part of the body create visual tension.
The Lamy emblem on the side is a practical detail which also serves as a roll stop. Its handy size and robust housing make the LAMY pico the ideal companion when out and about. A high level of writing comfort is ensured by the rounded body and the M22 LAMY compact ballpoint pen refill which glides effortlessly over the page.
The LAMY pico is available in the matt lacquer finishes Blue, Black and Chrome and in high-gloss Neon Orange, Neon Pink and White.
