Caran d'Ache invented the modern clutch pencil in 1929 with the Fixpencil. The 884 Junior is a lovely item - Swiss made, with lightweight but very strong aluminium barrel and wear-resistant powder-coat finish in satin black; polished metal clip in classic Caran d'Ache design; sharpener incorporated in the push-button; 2mm lead supplied in B; choice of colours for the push-button.

Refill with any 2mm lead.

Take Note offers free shipping within Canada on orders of $125+ CAD, while smaller orders cost $11 in Ontario and $15 in the rest of Canada. Local delivery is available within 25 km of the store, also free on orders above $125. For the U.S., shipping is free on $250+ CAD orders; otherwise, it’s $16 CAD or the cheapest option at checkout.
