Printed with calligrapher Yuichi Inoue’s work on an ecru cotton. Out of the many “single character” works by Inoue that are bold and overflowing with vitality, two of his “flowers,” a motif that he continually included in his work for over 400 pieces, was used for this design. The cover interior is dual toned, with the color of natural ecru and a vibrant yellow. It has "butterfly stopper" pen holders, which also function as a clasp to keep the cover shut.
